We do recognize that tools like Pegasus are dangerous and that people who are targeted by tools like Pegasus could be hurt… if someone is able to get access to your device on the same terms that you have, then they will be able to access Signal and any messages that haven’t disappeared. This is not a Signal problem. This is a device-level problem that people nonetheless need to be careful about.
